What do you love?
Do you give away money?
Who do you give it to?
Why do you give it to them?
These are powerful questions to ask people.
If you find out what people love, you can start to sense connections for them on what they might be interested in giving to, or getting involved with.
If you find out if they give away money, you have a sense if they could be a donor to your organization.
When you ask who they give it to, look for commonalities between who that is, and what your nonprofit does.
When you ask why they give, it may be as simple as “They asked me.”
