Currently, on twitter, there is a woman named Angie who is making history. She is livetweeting her abortion, which you can follow at @antitheistangie.
There is a lot of stigma around abortions. Angie is the mother of one special needs child, and even though she used protection, this pregnancy happened. On her blog, she talks about other people she met in the waiting room, what the chemical abortion feels like, and her thoughts on religion. Not one to shy away from controversial topics, Angie has taken a stand by livetweeting her abortion, to show that she is not ashamed of what she needs to do.
People livetweet their races for the cause, tweet their volunteer days, and tweet about their special events. Now Angie is tweeting about abortion.
