Are you wondering how to pursue & capture government contracts and grants?
Whether you’re helping special needs clients, or assisting veterans in getting jobs, or housing the homeless, the government has contracts and grants that your nonprofit can take advantage of.
It’s hard to get people to care about special needs clients when they don’t know anyone with special needs. And sometimes it’s hard to get people to care about housing or homelessness issues when all they see is a bum sleeping on the street.Government contracts and grants can solve your fundraising problems. They can provide support for your services for multiple years, allowing you to rest easy that the money is coming in and your programs can continue.
Nonprofits that have trouble getting sustaining support for their programs often turn to federal dollars to help fill in the gaps on much needed services.
But if you haven’t pursued or won a government grant or contract before, where do you start in planning your capture strategy? How can you get a leg up in a competitive environment? How do you gain the “relevant” experience necessary to win a grant or contract for your organization, or if you don’t have the experience, how do you successfully partner with other nonprofits to go after these government contracts or grants? In our previous webinar, Carroll Bernard, (founder of Waypoint America LLC, a firm helping nonprofits find and capture federal dollars), shared how to get set up and find contract and grant opportunities for nonprofits.During this 90 minute webinar, Carroll will discuss the next critical steps in pursuing and capturing these opportunities.
