Well, now you can.

If you see that a place you used to work is trying to hire someone new, again, after only 6 months of people coming and going, you know that all the old problems are still there, and what can you do about it?

How do you warn people off of a potential bad job with a bad boss, rankism, sexism, racism, classism, or homophobia without a potential libel lawsuit?

For the nonprofit sector, you can give an anonymous review at Charity Navigator.

For the nonprofit OR forprofit sector, you can give an anonymous review at Glass Door.

What would you REALLY like to say about a previous place that you worked?

You owe it to yourself, and others, to build up a body of knowledge around a particular nonprofit or corporation. If they are treating workers well, and not embezzling or breaking any laws, they have nothing to fear. If, on the other hand, they are no better than they should be, and in some cases quite worse, help other people avoid the heartbreak of working there.

When you get on Glass Door.com, be constructive, no expletives, help people understand what to expect when they get there. You can also put in your salary at a previous position, or what it was like to interview. So if you’ve been on a few interviews lately, do us all a favor and help us figure out what to expect when interviewing there.

Have you left a review on Glassdoor or Charity Navigator? Or have you benefited from a review on Glassdoor? Let me know in the comments.
